Tyler Higgins loved the Lord, and he had a passion for seeing young people commit their lives to Christ. We are grateful for the time Tyler shared that passion with us as our Student Minister and as a friend.
On Friday, September 4, 2020, Tyler died unexpectedly in his home. We lift up in prayer his wife, Sarah, and his parents, Mike and Robin, along with their families. We cannot fathom the depths of their grief. We grieve along with them and with all those who knew and loved this good man.
We will celebrate Tyler’s life at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, at Crosspointe Church, 2301 Airport Thruway B, Columbus, GA 31904.
We’re grateful that the scripture tells us that we do not “grieve as others do who have no hope”. I Thessalonians 13 (ESV) We know we will see him again one day.
We have created a fund to help provide for Tyler’s wife, Sarah, for the days to come. If you would like to help, you may donate online here or mail a check to the church at 2308 Hilton Avenue, Columbus, GA 31906. Please indicate “Higgins Benevolence” on your donation.
